Ayia Napa has a full range of hotels to choose from. Luxurious 5 star hotels with close proximity to the beach or 8-people room hostels for a very low price. Anyone can find their right deal. Personally, however, I would avoid the cheapest ones. Not because most cheap hotels are bad, but because they tend to host too many drunk, noisy people who do more harm than good. If you value a good night (or morning :)) sleep after a wild party, or just want to chill out in bed after a long day of bungee jumping, sun tanning and volleyball, you might want to consider paying a little extra. In Ayia Napa, it's worth it!

A hotel's location is also important. Hotels that are closer to the town's center are naturally more expensive. However, unlike other destinations, it's not necessarily a downside. Remote hotels could be situated on beautiful beaches which makes a nice compensation for being far from McDonalds! In Ayia Napa, the town's center means: Shops, Fast Food, and most importantly: The town's main promenade in which most of the hottest nightclubs and dance bars are located.

Therefore, you should choose the hotel's location according to your hanging-out habbits. If you're into a more relaxed Ayia Napa experience, you can choose a slightly more remote hotel and perhaps gain a cool beach to go with it. However, if partying is your main priority, choose a place that's not too far from the main promenade, so that you won't have to walk for 30 minutes every night (or morning!) when coming back from the clubs.
