Most "Ayia Napan" tourists are young and are ready & willing for around the clock partying and sun bathing. Since the town has never ending action from dawn to sunset, vacations in Ayia Napa are not for the faint hearted.

I'd say the average age is mid highschool to young adults (17-22). You can also see many people in their 30's or even 40's, but the general population is much younger.

When you try to divide tourists to their different nationalities, it's interesting to see that there are big differences between boys and girls. Most tourists in Ayia Napa come from the UK, Russia and Scandinavia. You can find the occasional German, Israeli and even Lebanese and Persian people (Which is pretty cool, by the way! Let me tell you - Lebanese girls are achingly beautiful!) Also, many local Cypriots come to mingle with the international population.

Surprisingly, the Russian sector provides mostly girls. The UK section provides more boys, I think. Scandivia is about 50/50.
